Roleplay Standards
Baseline expectations for serious and fair roleplay on Amity.
Last updated on
Stay in character during active scenes unless all parties agree to break character. Value your character's life and the scene over "winning" an interaction.
Fail RP & powergaming
Actions must be realistic for your character and the situation. Do not force outcomes without giving others a fair chance to respond (powergaming) or ignore serious consequences (fail RP).
New life & metagaming
Do not use information your character did not learn in roleplay. After certain deaths or major events, follow New Life Rule guidance from staff — do not return to the same conflict with memory your character should not have.
